- On the afternoon of October 17, the Organizing Committee of the 8th Technical Innovation Contest and the 17th Innovation Contest for Children and Youth of Lang Son province Satisfied Organize the 2025 summary and award conference. The leader of the Department of Science and Technology delivered the opening speech at the summary conference.

After launching, the Organizing Committee of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest received 171 models and products; the models and products belong to 5 fields: learning tools; computer software; environmentally friendly products; household appliances and children's toys; technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy .

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning authors and groups of authors at the 17th Lang Son Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest.

The 8th Lang Son Provincial Technical Innovation Contest attracted 142 solutions in 6 fields: information technology, electronics, telecommunications; mechanical automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture, forestry, fisheries, resources and environment; medicine; education and training.

At the closing conference, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes and 14 Encouragement prizes to excellent models and products participating in the 17th Lang Son Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest; 1 Third prize and 9 Encouragement prizes to solutions participating in the 8th Technical Creativity Contest.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen , member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Creative Competitions congratulated and commended the authors and groups of authors who won awards in the competitions.

He emphasized that in order for the competitions and creative competitions to become a vibrant and widespread movement of learning and creative work in science and technology, the Organizing Committee needs to summarize, draw lessons, experiences, orientations, and innovations so that the Competitions can be highly effective. Departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of communes and wards should proactively "order" practical problems; coordinate in receiving and testing feasible models and products after the competition; integrate resources from programs and projects to support authors in completing, transferring, and applying. The Department of Science and Technology, as the standing agency of the Organizing Committee, needs to continue to improve the process and tools for organizing and scoring the competition; strengthen communication; build a topic bank according to the practical needs of the province; organize training programs on research methods, model design, experimental safety, writing explanations, and presentations; attract resources and increase socialization and participation of businesses and investors for this work. The Department of Education and Training directs educational institutions to integrate scientific research activities into extracurricular activities; organize school-level and internal industry competitions; and promote the role of instructors.

The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda, mobilization, and organization of the 2025 Competitions.
