Tran Yen rewards groups and individuals participating in overcoming storm circulation No. 10

On the morning of October 8, Tran Yen commune held a meeting to say goodbye to military units and reward 219 groups and individuals who actively supported the locality in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10.

Storm No. 10 caused over 140 billion VND in damage to Tran Yen commune, with more than 1,240 households flooded, 634 hectares of crops and 70 hectares of aquaculture affected; many roads, bridges, tunnels, cultural houses and schools were flooded with mud.

The commune mobilized over 3,500 people to participate in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, including 200 officers and soldiers of Regiment 174, Division 316 (Military Region 2) and staff of Factory Z183 and local forces.

The forces, along with supporting vehicles and machinery, transported thousands of cubic meters of mud and soil, cleared more than 50 flooded areas, cleaned nearly 200 houses and the central area of ​​the commune, helping to restore traffic, electricity and water.

Tran Yen commune leaders rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The leaders of Tran Yen commune acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility of groups and individuals who coordinated with the locality in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, supporting people to soon stabilize their lives.
