Presented 382 gifts to the elderly in difficult circumstances

On the afternoon of October 23, leaders of the Provincial Association of the Elderly visited and presented gifts to two members in difficult circumstances in An Tuong ward.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Elderly Association Ha Thi Ngo presented gifts to member Ngo Thi Tuyet, 95 years old, residential group 5, An Tuong ward.

The two members who received gifts were Mrs. Ngo Thi Tuyet, 95 years old, residential group 5, and Mr. Dao Ngoc Oanh, 78 years old, residential group 13. At the families, the delegation visited their health, encouraged their spirits and wished them to always live happily and healthily, continue to promote the role of "tall trees with great shade", setting a good example for their children and grandchildren to follow.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of the Elderly also coordinated with 124 communes and wards in the province to send 382 gifts, each worth 600,000 VND to members in difficult circumstances, from the fund raised to support the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam. The activity demonstrates the spirit of "respecting the elderly", the care and sharing of the community for the previous generation, those who have devoted their whole lives to their homeland and country.
