  • Support 9 comrade houses for border soldiers in difficult circumstances
  • The Liaison Committee of Bac Lieu - Ca Mau compatriots in Ho Chi Minh City handed over the house of comrades.

Accordingly, the Provincial Border Guard Command has handed over 5 comrade houses to soldiers serving in units far from the center, with many poor living conditions. The comrades who received support mostly have difficult family circumstances: elderly parents, young children, and dilapidated, leaky houses, which greatly affect their daily life and work.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hoang On, Deputy Chief of Politics of the Border Guard of Ca Mau province (center) presented the decision to donate "Comrades' House" to Major Tran Thanh Dien (Reconnaissance Officer, Cai Cung Border Guard Station).

Faced with that reality, the Border Guard Command of Ca Mau surveyed and proposed to the Border Guard Command , and at the same time mobilized organizations, businesses and kind-hearted individuals to support the construction costs. Each house has an area of 60-100 m², with a total cost of 150-250 million VND, of which the Provincial Border Guard supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family, locality and comrades.

At the handover ceremony, joy was evident on the face of Professional Military Major Lam Thanh Tuong, a reporter at Cai Cung Border Post. He emotionally expressed: "Having a new house is the motivation for me to continue to stick with the unit, overcome difficulties, complete my tasks well, and contribute to maintaining security and order in the coastal border area."

Lieutenant Colonel Danh Thu, Political Commissar of Cai Cung Border Guard Station, presented a gift to Major Lam Thanh Tuong (Reporter of Cai Cung Border Guard Station) at the handover ceremony of "Comrades' House".

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hoang On, Deputy Head of Political Department of the Border Guard of Ca Mau province, said: Since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Border Guard Command and Border Guard Stations in the province have coordinated to mobilize all levels, sectors and benefactors to support the construction and handover of 15 Comrade Houses, with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND, helping soldiers in difficult circumstances stabilize their lives.

Representatives of the Ca Mau Border Guard Command and Song Doc Border Guard Station handed over the "Comrades' House" and presented gifts to Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Nhut Ben (Deputy Head of Mass Mobilization, Song Doc Border Guard Station).

This activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and care of the Provincial Border Guard Command for officers and soldiers working in border and island areas; contributing to the effective implementation of the military rear policy, helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work and successfully complete assigned tasks.
