Awarding the 2023 Quang Ninh Provincial Party Building Journalism Award

At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Quang Ninh Province Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) held a summary and award ceremony of the competition.

2023 is the fourth consecutive year that Quang Ninh province has organized the Party Building Journalism Award. The scale of the award is increasingly large, attracting a large number of journalists, reporters, and collaborators to participate.

The number of press works participating in the award increased sharply compared to previous years with 249 works participating in all categories, an increase of 33% compared to 2022, an increase of 52% compared to 2021. Of which, print newspapers: 36 works; television: 42 works; radio: 43 works; electronic newspapers: 91 works; press photos: 37 works.

Through the judging process, the Organizing Committee of the Award selected 60 works for the final round and unanimously selected 46 high-quality works for consideration for awards. Of these, there were 3 A prizes; 10 B prizes; 15 C prizes; 16 Encouragement prizes and 2 prizes for excellent works on organizing the implementation of resolutions of party congresses at all levels (radio works); on discovering typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style (television works).

Also at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Dang Xuan Phuong, awarded the Flag of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to a leading unit in the Propaganda sector and presented 7 Certificates of Merit to the District-level Propaganda Department; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 16 individuals with achievements in Propaganda work in 2023.
