Presented 856 gifts to poor households in Thanh Son

On October 20, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society coordinated with the communes of Tan Minh, Tan Lap, Dong Cuu, Kha Cuu (Thanh Son District) and philanthropists to organize the program "Connecting the community - Spreading acts of kindness. Volunteer journey - Sharing love".

Representatives of the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society and benefactors presented gifts to poor households at the program.

The program presented 856 gifts to 856 poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in 4 communes in the district. Of which, Dong Cuu commune received 200 gifts, Kha Cuu commune received 204 gifts, Tan Lap commune received 200 gifts and Tan Minh commune received 252 gifts. Each gift was worth 1,047 million VND (including cash and necessities), the total value of the gifts was nearly 900 million VND.

All the gifts were donated by Linh Son Pagoda (Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province) with the support of Buddhists and philanthropists to support poor households in Thanh Son District. The gifts demonstrate the spirit of "mutual love", and are a source of encouragement to help families overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
