Over 3,000 students participated in the event "Germany Career Orientation Bus"

On the morning of September 15, An Giang Vocational College organized the program "Germany Career Orientation Bus", to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany.

Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City Christopher Scholl; Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of An Giang province Huynh Thanh Hai; Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province Cao Quoc Dien, and more than 3,000 students from educational institutions in the province attended.

Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Department of Tourism Huynh Thanh Hai delivered the opening speech at the event.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the provincial People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of An Giang province, Huynh Thanh Hai, emphasized that this is not only an opportunity for the provincial education and training sector to access the German-standard vocational training model - considered a global model, but also an opportunity for students to learn about the labor market and study opportunities in Germany. Thereby, helping them have a clearer view of their future career path.

The “German Career Coach” project is part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam. Under the auspices of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the project was initiated in collaboration with the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Vietnam, the Goethe Institute in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam).

The project aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration and expand access to international labor markets for young people in Vietnam.

An Giang is the 12th stop in the journey across Vietnam, through 16 provinces and cities of Vietnam. The program includes activities such as direct consultation on safe labor migration, cooperation in Germany; opportunities for vocational study in Germany or opportunities for German-standard technical vocational training in Vietnam; living and studying conditions in Germany, types of universities; German language learning roadmap, exams and certificates; parallel vocational training programs, career opportunities in Germany for highly skilled workers...
