Paying tribute to President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il

At noon on October 10 local time, General Secretary To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation went to Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to lay flowers in memory of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the State visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and attending the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea, at noon on October 10 local time, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation went to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to lay flowers in memory of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Writing in the guest book, General Secretary To Lam wrote: The high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam was deeply moved to visit the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the eternal resting place of the two great leaders of the Korean people, President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, close friends and comrades of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.

During their lifetime, President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il devoted their entire lives to independence, freedom and socialism for the people and country of Korea, laying the foundation for building and developing the relationship and solidarity between the people of Korea and Vietnam.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his gratitude and remembered the great contributions of the Party, State and people of the DPRK under the leadership of previous leaders such as President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and today General Secretary and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK Kim Jong Un to the Party, State and people of Vietnam in the cause of protecting, building and developing the country; vowed to do his best to continue developing the Vietnam-DPRK cooperative, solidarity and development relationship to meet the national interests and the rich, prosperous and prosperous life of the people of the two countries, for peace and stability of the region and the world./.
