According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the State visit to North Korea and the attendance at the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025) by General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on the afternoon of October 10 local time, the signing ceremony of bilateral cooperation documents between Vietnam and North Korea took place in the capital Pyongyang.
Accordingly, the cooperation documents include the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea;
Letter of Intent between the Ministry of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on defense cooperation;
Agreement on cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency and the Korean Central News Agency; Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in health and medical science between the Ministry of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Health of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea;
Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
With a long-standing traditional friendship foundation and the will and desire for continuous cooperation between the two countries, in recent years, Vietnam-DPRK relations have continued to develop steadily and firmly, achieving a number of encouraging and outstanding results.

The two sides have signed a number of bilateral cooperation agreements in the fields of culture, health, civil aviation, judicial assistance, investment promotion and protection, double taxation avoidance, etc.; maintained a number of dialogue and cooperation mechanisms such as the Political Consultation at the Deputy Foreign Minister level, the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic-Trade, Scientific-Technological Cooperation on the basis of suitability to the needs of each country as well as international regulations.
Exchange activities between people's organizations are maintained and expanded, thereby helping people of the two countries, especially the young generation, understand more deeply the traditional and good friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples./.
