
The program took place in a solemn and cozy atmosphere, with the participation of many invited delegates, associations, and overseas Vietnamese living, studying and working in the Kansai region, Japan.
The event is not only an occasion to honor and celebrate the role of Vietnamese women, but also deeply demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, attachment and homeland orientation of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thuong - President of the General Association of Vietnamese in the Kansai region emphasized: "Vietnamese women, no matter where they are, in any circumstances, are always the loving support of their families, the ones who preserve and spread the cultural and spiritual values of the Vietnamese people."

Ms. Le Thuong also shared the plan to launch the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Network in Japan in the near future - an initiative to connect, support and enhance the role of Vietnamese women in the fields of economics , entrepreneurship and international cooperation. This initiative received special attention from delegates and is expected to open a new direction of development for the Vietnamese women community in Japan.
On this occasion, Ms. Le Thuong, on behalf of the General Association of Vietnamese in the Kansai region, launched a fundraising program to support the recovery of the consequences of storm No. 10, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front . The call received positive responses from associations and individuals, demonstrating the traditional spirit of "helping each other".

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoang - Deputy Consul in charge of community, Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka sent his congratulations to all Vietnamese women in Japan, and acknowledged the positive role of the General Association of Vietnamese in the Kansai region in connecting the community and promoting the image of Vietnamese people and culture to international friends. He affirmed that activities such as "Mother's Voice from afar" not only create a spiritual playground for overseas Vietnamese women and families, but also contribute to strengthening the Vietnam-Japan friendship on the basis of people-to-people cultural exchange.
On behalf of the Japanese side, Mr. Yoshi Fumi - Head of the Cultural Division, Higashi Osaka City expressed his joy to accompany the Vietnamese community in the locality. He highly appreciated the dynamic, progressive and benevolent spirit of Vietnamese women, and affirmed that the city government will continue to support community activities to enhance cultural exchange and friendly cooperation between the two nations.

Within the framework of the program, a content that attracted the attention of women was the sharing session "Cancer screening and women's health protection" presented by Dr. Pham Nguyen Quy - Head of Oncology Department, Kyoto Medical University Hospital. With in-depth knowledge and medical experience in Japan, the speaker shared practical information to help Vietnamese women better understand early screening, proactive health care and take advantage of local medical services.
The program ended with a series of performances by community art groups and children, praising the love for the homeland, Vietnamese mothers and the resilient spirit of Vietnamese women. The melodies and bright smiles of the participants created a warm atmosphere, reminding those living far away from their homeland of their homeland.

The program “Mother’s Voice from afar” is not only an activity to celebrate the traditional day of Vietnamese women, but also an opportunity to connect the community, spread the spirit of mutual love and affirm the cultural identity of Vietnam in the heart of Japan.
