Emphasizing the role of science, technology, and innovation in the digital age, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that Resolution 57 of the Politburo is like the manifesto of our Party with the desire for the country to truly develop sustainably on its own feet, confidently entering the creative stage on the most important foundation of science, technology, and digital transformation. Currently, Bac Ninh province is determined to realize Resolution 57 with very specific contents. In particular, the highest focus is on the development of science and technology, digital transformation, and innovation through a strong strategy of training high-quality human resources, attracting talents in the fields of semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical industries, etc. with specific policies. Promote the development of industrial and high-tech infrastructure associated with the requirements of developing research and transfer centers. Urgently attract investment in concentrated information technology parks, medical and pharmaceutical industrial parks, university urban areas, etc.
Recently, Bac Ninh province successfully organized the Forum "Science, technology, innovation and digital transformation - Bac Ninh breakthroughs and development", with the participation of many scientists, experts, and prestigious domestic and foreign enterprises. At this conference, the province launched the movement "Digital literacy for the masses", aiming to popularize digital skills for the people, determined not to leave anyone behind in the digital technology revolution, creating a breakthrough in data and digital resource development. Launching the STEM Innovation Competition with the theme "Exploring Heritage" and launching the Innovative Startup Competition... to create a useful environment and playground, nurturing the passion for research, experiencing science and technology, and creative ideas in the whole society. On that basis, the province assigned the Department of Science and Technology to advise on the establishment of an Advisory Group to implement Resolution 57 and develop the private economy , actively attract experts and scientists inside and outside the province, and strive to put it into operation before April 25.
