On the afternoon of September 13, detectives from the task force ambushed house number 9 Tan Tuc Street, Tan Tuc Town, Binh Chanh District, catching Tien Thi Tuyet Ngan red-handed while she was delivering 9 boxes of fake documents to a shipping company employee to be delivered to the District 7 Post Office for delivery to a customer. At this time, detectives also caught a Grab delivery driver red-handed delivering 107 bags of documents containing many fake documents to Ngan.
The task force urgently searched the house number 9 Tan Tuc street. Here, the police seized many fake papers and documents and at the same time brought Ngan, Pham Thanh Linh (Ngan's husband) and Nguyen Quoc Kiet in for questioning.
From the statements of the above subjects and through investigation and prosecution, the police arrested the brothers Nguyen Huu The and Nguyen Huu Than.
Police determined that brothers Nguyen Huu The and Nguyen Huu Than received fake documents from Cambodia, brought them to Vietnam, and then delivered them to customers according to a pre-made list.
These brothers rented house number 9 Tan Tuc street to store fake papers and documents, then packed them with old clothes to disguise themselves and deal with the authorities.
Then, The - Than brothers instructed Ngan - Linh and Kiet to order delivery through applications for the Post Office to deliver to customers using the cash on delivery service (COD).
The police urgently searched the suspects' residences and seized many fake documents, including various degrees, vehicle registration papers, and various types of identification papers...
