Virtual assistant via Call Center 1900.9068 supports people to reset VssID password

(HNMO) - Vietnam Social Security (VSS) said that from June 6, virtual assistants via Call Center 1900.9068 can support people to reissue VssID passwords - Social Security numbers. This program is being piloted by Vietnam Social Security in coordination with the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ).

Using VssID application brings many benefits.

How to do it in 3 steps:

Step 1: Use the phone number registered with the VssID account to call the switchboard 1900.9068, press number 8 to select the function to reset the VssID password and follow the instructions.

Step 2: The virtual assistant asks you to provide the social security number you need to retrieve your password. After you provide the social security number, the system will check the phone number you are calling and the social security number. If it matches the data managed by Vietnam Social Security, the virtual assistant will read the new password to you (the new password will be repeated once for you to remember). If it does not match, the virtual assistant will notify you that "the phone number and social security number do not match or have not been registered with the social security agency".

Step 3: End call.

Detailed process of calling virtual assistant for support to reset VssID password.

The fee for calling Hotline 1900.9068 is 1,000 VND/minute and is paid to the Hotline service provider, not to Vietnam Social Security.

Thus, currently, VssID users can reset their password in 2 ways:

Method 1: Use the “forgot password” function on the VssID application or the “forgot password” function on the page https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn. With this method, the requester in the VssID account must have email address information, but it is free.

Method 2: Reset password via virtual assistant on Call Center 1900.9068 (extension 8).

To date, the VssID application has nearly 29 million approved and activated accounts.
