The Party Central Committee decided to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy to resign from the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee according to his personal wish.

According to the announcement of the Party Central Committee Office, at the 13th Central Committee Conference on October 6, the Party Central Committee discussed and decided to let Mr. Le Quang Huy, former member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Science , Technology and Environment, resign from the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee according to his personal wishes.

Previously, on September 29, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly agreed to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly, to retire from work from October 1, 2025, according to his personal wishes.

Mr. Le Quang Huy (59 years old, hometown Hanoi ), is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee. Mr. Le Quang Huy is also a National Assembly delegate of the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th terms. He was elected Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment at the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term in 2021.

The National Assembly Standing Committee assigned Mr. Le Minh Hoan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, to be in charge of, direct and manage the activities of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly until the position of Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly is completed.

Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of a National Assembly committee is a position elected by the National Assembly. Therefore, the position of Chairman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee, which Mr. Le Quang Huy is retiring from, may be filled by the National Assembly at the upcoming 10th session.
