The Party Central Committee discussed the proposal to introduce personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee and Central Inspection Commission.

According to the announcement of the Party Central Office, on the morning of October 6, the 13th Conference of the Party Central Committee, 13th tenure opened.

Election of 4 additional members to the 13th Central Inspection Commission

In the morning, the Party Central Committee worked in the conference hall. General Secretary To Lam delivered the opening speech. President Luong Cuong chaired the conference on behalf of the Politburo . The Central Committee discussed and decided on a number of issues related to personnel work.

Specifically, four additional members of the 13th Central Inspection Commission were elected, including:

Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province; Major General Tran Van Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police; Trinh The Binh - Department Head, Secretary of the Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Tran Quoc Binh - Director of Department of Localities III, Central Inspection Commission.

Remove all Party positions of Mr. Do Trong Hung

The Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Le Quang Huy resign from the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee according to his personal wish.

The Central Committee also disciplined Mr. Do Trong Hung - member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province by removing him from all Party positions.

Because Mr. Hung violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, outraged public opinion, and had a very negative impact on the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

The Central Committee also gave opinions on personnel so that the Politburo could decide to introduce the XV National Assembly to elect the positions of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office, Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Committee for Delegation Affairs and approve the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Home Affairs.

Afterwards, the Central Committee worked in groups, discussing the contents including the report on introducing personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee (both official and alternate; both re-elected and participating for the first time).

In the afternoon, the Central Committee worked in the hall to discuss the report introducing personnel for the Party Central Committee and the Central Inspection Committee, term XIV.

Vote to introduce candidates for re-election to the 14th Central Committee (both official and alternate) and candidates for re-election to the 14th Central Inspection Committee. Candidates participating for the first time in the 14th Party Central Committee (both official and alternate) and the 14th Central Inspection Committee.

Afterwards, the Party Central Committee and delegates attending the conference worked in groups, discussing six contents, including: Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam;

Draft Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Time, content and program of the 14th National Party Congress; Working regulations of the 14th National Party Congress; Election regulations at the 14th National Party Congress.
