The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has just issued a weather forecast for the Lunar New Year 2024, from tonight, February 3 to February 13 (night of December 24 - the 4th day of Tet).

Northern Region
From the night of February 3-4 (night of December 24-25), the Northwest will have rain in some places, early morning there will be fog and light fog, sunny afternoon. The night and early morning will be cold. The Northeast will have rain in some places, early morning there will be fog and light fog, sunny afternoon; in the plains and coastal areas, there will be drizzle and fog at night and in the morning.
Highest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius, some places above 27 degrees Celsius; Northwest region 26-28 degrees Celsius, some places above 29 degrees Celsius.
Lowest temperature 18-21 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 18 degrees Celsius.
From the night of February 4-7 (night of December 25-28), the North will have light rain, drizzle and fog at night and in the morning, and it will be cold.
Highest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius, Northwest region 25-28 degrees Celsius, some places above 28 degrees Celsius. Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 16 degrees Celsius.
From February 8-12 (December 29 - Lunar New Year's Day), the weather will turn cold, with the possibility of severe cold in mountainous areas. On February 8, there will be scattered light rain; from February 9, there will be rain in some places.

Area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh
From the night of February 3-7 (night of December 24-28), this area will have rain in some places, early morning there will be scattered fog and light fog, sunny in the afternoon.
Highest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, some places above 28 degrees Celsius. Lowest temperature 20-22 degrees Celsius.
From February 8-13 (December 29 - Lunar New Year's Day): From February 8-9, there will be scattered showers; then rain in some places. The weather will turn cold.
Highest temperature 18-21 degrees Celsius, February 8 only: 20-23 degrees Celsius. Lowest temperature 15-18 degrees Celsius.
Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue
From the night of February 3-8 (night of December 23-29), it will rain in some places, early morning there will be scattered fog and light fog, sunny in the afternoon.
Highest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius, some places above 29 degrees Celsius. Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees Celsius.
From February 9-13 (December 30 - Lunar New Year's Day), it will rain, scattered showers. Cold at night and morning.

Area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan
From the night of February 3-8 (night of December 23-29), there will be little rain and sunny days. Highest temperature 28-31 degrees Celsius. Lowest temperature 21-25 degrees Celsius.
From February 9-13 (December 30 - Tet holiday), there will be scattered rain and showers in the North; in the South there will be rain in some places.

Central Highlands region
