US Junior Amateur 2025: Nguyen Anh Minh advances to the round of 16, Ho Anh Huy stops

Facing Nicholas Brooks, the host representative of the US, Anh Minh entered the match with confidence. With stable performance and precise shots, the number 1 golfer of Vietnam quickly dominated and created a 4 Up gap after only the first 7 holes.

Anh Minh closed the match on hole 15 with a decisive birdie, winning convincingly to advance to the next knockout round. In the round of 16, the 18-year-old golfer will face his opponent from China, Liangliang Gu.

Meanwhile, Ho Anh Huy faced another home golfer, Stuart Boulware, who was in top form. Despite his best efforts, Anh Huy still had to accept defeat with a score of 6&4, ending his journey at the tournament.

However, being present in the competition round is also a commendable mark for the Vietnamese representative on the world's most prestigious youth playground.
