Strive to open the entire Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway to traffic before October 15

On the afternoon of October 1, Mr. Dang Van Dung, Executive Director of the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project (Project Management Board 7, Ministry of Construction) said that the organization of traffic opening of the entire Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway is facing difficulties due to problems at the Co Ma intersection.

The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway project (through Khanh Hoa province) is more than 83km long, started in January 2023, and has been partially put into operation since April 19. The final section of the project (from Km285+00 - Km298+00) is about 13km long, from the Co Ma tunnel entrance to Van Gia intersection, has been basically completed but the entire route cannot be opened to traffic due to traffic conflicts between the exit to National Highway 1A and the road connecting to the tunnel. To ensure safety and smooth traffic, the management unit must adjust the traffic organization plan, repaint lane lines, add signs...

The representative of Project Management Board 7 affirmed that the relevant units are trying to complete the items to open the entire route to traffic before October 15, ensuring safety and meeting road traffic safety standards.
