On October 17, in Hue City and Quang Tri Province, a conference was held to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung was born in 1973, from Nghe An, with a degree in Advanced Political Theory, Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Judicial Law. Before being assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, he held the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong was born in 1970, hometown in Phong Thai ward, Hue city; has a Master's degree in Economics , Construction Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Before being assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, he held the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.
