During the past term, the Farmers' Association of Bac Lieu Ward has continuously grown in terms of organization and quality of activities, contributing positively to the development of the rural economy and the construction of urban civilization. The Association has promoted its role as a reliable representative organization of the peasant class, actively mobilizing members to participate in emulation movements, transforming production models, and applying science and technology to urban agriculture.

Promoting the achieved results, the 1st Congress set out 13 main targets for the new term, focusing on building a strong, united, and creative Association, contributing to arousing the aspiration to build a rich, civilized, and happy Bac Lieu ward in the period of integration and development.

Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Hoang Thoai hopes that the Ward Farmers' Association will develop young members with the desire to contribute and the skills to apply digital technology to promote the development of smart agriculture .

In his speech, comrade Nguyen Hoang Thoai requested the Ward Farmers' Association to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, in line with the urban government model; at the same time, promote the core role and subject of farmers in developing smart and sustainable urban agriculture, improving the production value chain. At the same time, strengthen links with supermarkets and commercial centers in the area, creating stable output for agricultural products of farmers in the ward and neighboring areas.

At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association announced the decision to appoint 18 members of the Executive Committee and 3 delegates to attend the higher-level Congress. Comrade Nguyen Van Lang was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Bac Lieu Ward, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Nguyen Hoang Thoai, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, presented 2 billion VND from the Farmers' Support Fund to the Ward Farmers' Association.

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association Standing Committee awarded 2 billion VND from the Farmers' Support Fund to the Bac Lieu Ward Farmers' Association to support members in developing production and expanding effective economic models.
