The 2026 exam will basically remain stable as in 2025, but with adjustments in inspection and examination to suit the two-level local government management model.
The time for receiving appeal applications will be shortened, and information technology applications will be enhanced to optimize data transmission, replacing manual submission.
The Ministry of Education and Training also announced a roadmap for organizing computer-based exams from 2027.
In June 2027, the high school graduation exam will be held in two forms: computer-based exam at qualified locations and paper-based exam at the remaining locations.
