According to Mexico's assessment, Vietnam is a country with more than 100 million people, integrated into global trade networks, with an average economic growth rate of 7% annually over the past decades, making Vietnam an extremely attractive market for this Latin American country.

Among the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam is Mexico’s second-largest trading partner and seventh-largest supplier globally. Bilateral trade between Mexico and Vietnam has grown exponentially since the CPTPP agreement came into effect for both countries.
