Vietnamese cuisine ranked 4th in the Readers' Choice Awards list of the world's top culinary countries. This list was voted by readers and compiled by the international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.

Pho - a dish not to be missed when tourists come to Vietnam.

In the food category of the Readers' Choice Awards, Condé Nast Traveller asked readers to vote for the places with dishes that truly excite the taste buds.

The results showed a strong consensus of opinion from the public, with most of the honored cuisines achieving a consensus of more than 94% from voters.

Condé Nast Traveller magazine says that popular culinary destinations span every continent, showing that there is no single formula or standard for good food.

From varied breakfasts, unique street food to fine dining, cuisine is something not to be missed when setting foot in and exploring a country.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism , no matter how wonderful a trip is, it will not be complete without experiencing the taste and local cuisine. Each dish is not only created by flavor but also contains the story of the land and the people embedded in each ingredient and each recipe passed down through many generations.

With 96.67 points, ranked 4th on the list of countries with the world's leading cuisines, Vietnamese cuisine is highly appreciated thanks to its fresh, rich and diverse source of ingredients.

Condé Nast Traveller experts introduce: "We have all seen the lush rice fields in Vietnam. So it is no surprise that the ingredients are especially fresh. Rice is prepared in all kinds of ways, present in countless familiar dishes: hot bowls of rice, noodles, soft pho or chewy rice paper rolls... All are harmoniously combined with vegetables, fresh meat and typical spices".

Vietnamese cuisine always brings tourists authentic and complete experiences. And each dish will "tell" its own stories about the country, culture and local people.

In addition to Vietnam, the top 15 countries with the world's leading cuisine according to Condé Nast Traveller also include: Thailand, Italy, Japan, Spain, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Greece, South Africa, Peru, Maldives, Colombia, Morocco, France and Türkiye.

The countries honored in the list all achieved impressive scores. This shows that cuisine has an extremely strong attraction. And each country has its own creative way of preparing dishes to evoke flavors.
