Regarding the incident of the kitchen providing spoiled meat and eggs for the school's lunch, on the afternoon of October 15, Cu Khe Primary School worked with the Department of Culture and Society of Binh Minh Commune and parents of students, along with Nhat Anh Company - the unit providing meals for the school.
At the meeting, Mr. Phan Duc Long, Director of Nhat Anh Trading, Service and Export Company Limited admitted that, at the time when parents and the school were supervising, the company's kitchen staff did not follow the correct procedure for receiving food into the kitchen.

According to the representative of the parents, the food reception of Nhat Anh company is still sketchy. The parents asked the company to adjust the food reception and monitoring process for the suppliers.
In particular, parents also requested that the food supplier add more supervisory staff, and that the food must be vacuum-sealed and refrigerated when brought to school.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, Head of the Department of Culture and Society, head of the monitoring team, requested Nhat Anh company to stop the contract with Canh Nau cooperative, the supplier responsible for the recent mistake.
In addition to replacing with another reputable food supplier, the Head of the Department of Culture and Society requires the kitchen to replace all preparation tools to ensure hygiene; the staff in charge of boarding must be trained to ensure food hygiene and safety...

“During the post-inspection process, if Nhat Anh company does not comply, the locality will stop all meal supply of this unit in Binh Minh commune.
In particular, parents need to monitor with the school to ensure food hygiene and safety, and immediately report to authorities if any unusual problems are discovered," Ms. Dao emphasized.
Earlier, the same morning, representatives of the Parents' Committee came to inspect and supervise the food supply at Cu Khe Primary School, Binh Minh, Hanoi .
At the time of inspection of the Nhat Anh kitchen located at this school, parents said that the meat and peeled quail eggs had a foul odor. When the plastic bag was opened for a while, the meat smelled less. The fresh food was wrapped in plastic bags, not refrigerated, and transported by truck.
Immediately after that, the monitoring team requested to replace quail eggs with chicken eggs to prepare for students.
After the surprise inspection, the parties made a record under the witness of the Parents' Committee, delivery staff and medical staff, admitting that the food had an odor and replaced it with other food.
