Specifically, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested Binh Minh commune to coordinate with relevant units to inspect, clarify, strictly handle violations (if any) and report the results before October 18.
Previously, the Department of Culture and Society of Binh Minh commune had a working session with the school, parents and suppliers to clarify parents' complaints about Cu Khe Primary School importing food that did not meet quality standards to cook for students.
The working group requested to change the school's food supplier, comply with regulations when bringing food to school, and replace unsanitary kitchen utensils...

After the scandal of rotten meat and eggs being imported into Cu Khe Primary School, Binh Minh Commune, Hanoi was exposed, many parents became even more uneasy and worried because up until now, parents occasionally questioned why their children had stomach aches and diarrhea in their classes. They were skeptical but had no concrete evidence so no one dared to come forward to complain.
In a letter sent to Dan Tri, a parent said that after the incident, the school still allowed the kitchen supplier to continue operating and only "learned lessons" which was not satisfactory.
“Apart from the school's Parent Council, we parents cannot and are not allowed to have direct dialogue with both sides: the cooking unit and the school board. Therefore, our opinions are not representative,” this parent was upset.
Previously, on the morning of October 15, representatives of the Parents' Committee came to inspect and supervise the food supply at Cu Khe Primary School.
At the time of inspection of the Nhat Anh kitchen (belonging to Nhat Anh Company) located at this school, parents said that the pre-peeled meat and quail eggs had a foul odor. When the plastic bag was opened for a while, the meat smelled less. The fresh food was wrapped in plastic bags, not refrigerated, and transported by truck.
Immediately after that, the monitoring team requested to replace quail eggs with chicken eggs to prepare for students.
After the surprise inspection, the parties made a record under the witness of the Parents' Committee, delivery staff and medical staff, admitting that the food had an odor and replaced it with other food.
