Dialogue, mobilization for site handover to implement the Northwest resettlement area project, A III road

On October 18, the People's Committee of Phuoc Thang Ward (HCMC) organized a dialogue with people about compensation policies and mobilized and persuaded households and individuals whose land was recovered to hand over the site early to implement the resettlement project in the Northwest of A III Street.

The Northwest resettlement area of ​​A III road is invested by the Vung Tau Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board with a total adjusted investment of nearly 824 billion VND. The project has an area of ​​24.8 hectares, of which residential land has an area of ​​101,704.5m ² , accounting for 40.88%; land for public works construction has an area of ​​55,616m ² , accounting for 22.36%; green land has an area of ​​18,799m ² , accounting for 7.56%; traffic land has an area of ​​72,649.5m ² , accounting for 29.2%.

The total actual land area recovered by the project is ^204,170.2m2 with a total of 231 households to be cleared. Up to now, compensation funds have been approved for 231 households with a total area of ^{​​197,192.7m2} (the remaining land area of ​​176,782.5m2 is managed by ^the state) with a total compensation and support fund of 31 phases of nearly 466 billion VND. Up to now, 138/231 households have received money with a fund of nearly 312 billion VND; 93 households have not received money with a fund of more than 141 billion VND.

Reporting at the dialogue session, the leader of Phuoc Thang ward said that there are currently a total of 123 related households (including those whose names are on the certificate) who have not yet handed over the land to implement phase 3 of the project from Cau Chay street to 2-9 Kindergarten. The total land area that needs to be forcibly recovered in this area is 1.2 hectares.

At the dialogue, the leaders of Phuoc Thang ward and relevant authorities took note of the people's proposals and recommendations such as: compensation for agricultural land; compensation according to market prices; request for resettlement land; request for compensation for houses, structures and support for rent during the site handover period... At the same time, they propagated and mobilized people to quickly hand over the site to implement the project on schedule, creating a premise for infrastructure, economic and urban development of the locality.
