(Dan Tri) - Not only stopping at fake charity appeals, some people also continue to use other tricks to scam people, causing hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City to issue warnings.

Children's Hospital 1 (HCMC) has just issued a warning about "fake recruitment".

Accordingly, the above medical facility said that it recently received information about a person impersonating the unit's human resources department for the purpose of fraud.

The post used the image and name of Children's Hospital 1 to fake recruitment (Photo: BV).

On the fake fanpage, which has both the words and logo "Children's Hospital 1" and thousands of followers, the subjects posted recruitment posts for a series of positions such as nurses, accountants, medical secretaries, college pharmacists, doctors of various specialties, and even recruiting the Head of Human Resources.

In the post, viewers are lured into downloading an application called “Zoom Internal…”, registering a personal account and connecting to a strange email to supplement their profile and conduct an “online preliminary selection”.

This poses a risk that subscribers' information may be disclosed or even have their personal information appropriated for malicious purposes.

Children's Hospital 1 confirmed that all of the above recruitment posts are fake. This unit recommends that candidates who want to apply should pay attention to the key information.

Firstly, the unit currently only recruits through the official website of Children's Hospital 1 (https://nhidong.org.vn2), via the official email of the human resources department (p.tccb@nhidong.org.vn3) or the recruitment phone number of the human resources department is (028) 392709804.

The unit only accepts applications directly at the Personnel Department, not through any intermediary or other individual. People need to be alert to avoid being taken advantage of.

At Children's Hospital 2, recently this place also issued a "hot" warning about the content of calls for support for children that are not true.

According to the Hospital, recently, information and pictures of a baby named TLMA (born in 2022, residing in Lam Dong province) have been posted on social networking sites, mentioning the baby's treatment process and calling for help from the community.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Gastroenterology Department, Children's Hospital 2, said the child was diagnosed with chronic enteritis. The child had been treated at the department many times and had health insurance, so the cost of treatment was not as high as the fundraising posts suggested.

“In light of this incident, we would like to inform philanthropists and social media users to be vigilant and avoid being exploited by people who take advantage of sympathetic content!

Dear donors who want to support the hospital's pediatric patients, please contact the Poor Patient Support Team, Social Work Department, Children's Hospital 2 via hotline 028.38295723 (extension 295), available during office hours from Monday to Friday.

We will provide information on cases with accurate and clear verification," the pediatric hospital in Ho Chi Minh City instructed.

Previously, in mid-September, a representative of the Social Work Department of Children's Hospital 1 warned about the discovery of a fanpage using the name, logo and image of the unit.

The above fanpage used the image and information of a very sick child, along with tragic words such as "save my child", "very tragic"... to post, calling for money transfers to a personal account named "DO TRONG HUY".

A representative of Children's Hospital 1 confirmed that the above fanpage is fake and that the unit did not use personal account numbers to call for or ask for money for pediatric patients.

Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, Thu Duc General Hospital, and Ho Chi Minh City Dental Hospital also said they had discovered a number of fake fanpages impersonating other units, aiming to mislead the community for personal gain.

At Cho Ray Hospital, this unit even received some complaints from organ donor registrants about some subjects claiming to be hospital staff, calling them to ask them to pay a fee to receive a registration card delivered by the post office .

The Cho Ray Hospital's Human Organ Transplant Coordination Unit has reported to the post office to verify and thoroughly handle the incident, in order to prevent similar acts from happening.
