Attractive semi-final pairs
The final two matches of Groups A and B of the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup took place this evening (March 26), with exciting developments. Malaysian University won first place in Group B and a ticket to the semi-finals after defeating Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism with a score of 1-0. In the remaining match, Lao University won 2-0 against host Ton Duc Thang University, thereby becoming the last team to enter the round of 4 strongest teams.
Thus, the 4 teams entering the semi-finals have been determined. They are Life University (first in Group A), Lao University (second in Group A), Malaysia University (first in Group B) and Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism (second in Group B).
Lao University became the last team to win a ticket to the semi-finals.

The two teams that said goodbye to the game were Ton Duc Thang University and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
The semi-final pairs and the semi-final match schedule of the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament have also been determined. In the first semi-final match taking place at 3:30 p.m. on March 28, Life University (from Cambodia) will compete with Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the second semi-final match taking place at 5:45 p.m. on the same day, Malaysia University will face Laos University.
The teams will compete fiercely for a ticket to the final of the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament.
Championship candidate revealed
With 2 wins in a row, Life University is the team that is making the strongest impression.
The Cambodian representative convincingly won 3-1 against Ton Duc Thang University in the opening match, then continued to defeat Lao University with a score of 2-0. With 5 goals and a fiery, beautiful attacking style, Life University is the number one candidate for the championship.
Lao University also regained confidence when they won against Ton Duc Thang University in the final match. The excellent quality of the players and the skillful passing helped the Lao representative defeat the host in a tough match to get the ticket to the next round.
The Malaysian University also showed its superiority. After an unlucky draw against Nanyang Technological University in the opening day, the Malaysian representative convincingly defeated Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the top spot. Meanwhile, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism must try harder if they want to get a ticket to the final.
