Pickup truck crashes into container parked on the side of the road, 6 people injured and dead

Today (July 15), Mr. Phan Cong Duong - Chairman of Nghi Dien Commune People's Committee, Nghi Loc District ( Nghe An ) confirmed that on the Vinh City bypass road passing through the commune, a traffic accident had just occurred, killing 2 people and injuring 4 others.

Accordingly, the accident happened at around 2am the same day. There were 6 people on the pickup truck (the driver’s identity is unknown) and it crashed into the side of a container truck that was stopped on the side of the road.

After a strong collision, 2 people in the pickup truck died and 4 others were injured.

The deceased victims were initially identified as NVH and NQH, both residing in Nghi Dien commune, Nghi Loc district.

At the scene, the pickup truck was damaged in the front due to crashing into the side of the container truck, the rear of the pickup truck was also deformed.

A source said that authorities at the scene suspected that a pickup truck was hit from behind by another vehicle traveling in the same direction, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a container truck parked on the side of the road.

Currently, Nghe An Provincial Police are investigating the case.
