Male patient NVD (57 years old, Hung Yen ) was taken by his family to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment with traumatic brain injury, maxillofacial injury, right hand injury and left wrist injury.
The patient's family said the accident happened because Mr. D. fell during a tornado, leading to serious injuries.

Another case, female patient PTH (66 years old, Ninh Binh ) suffered severe multiple injuries due to her house collapsing during storm Bualoi.
Patient NTK (52 years old, Phu Tho ) fell from a height while climbing to fix a damaged corrugated iron roof, causing spinal injury and a fractured L1 lumbar vertebra.
Or the case of Mrs. VTĐ. (83 years old, Thanh Hoa) unfortunately slipped and fell during a stormy night due to slippery roads, leading to a fracture of the left femur. The patient was transferred to the General Trauma Surgery Department, where the doctor prescribed surgery to fix the bone.
However, because she is taking anticoagulants, the surgery will be performed in about 5 days, when her health is safe.

In another case, Ms. HTP in Hai Phong was unfortunately cut by a large sheet of metal. The cut caused a deep wound in her right ankle, causing Ms. P. to rupture her Achilles tendon and lose the ability to move on the spot.
In the emergency, relatives and neighbors quickly gave first aid, stopped the bleeding and took her to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in a state of both pain and panic.
As soon as the emergency case was admitted, the doctors immediately examined, ordered paraclinical tests and decided to perform emergency surgery to treat the wound and reconnect the tendon.
As for the case of male patient N.D.T., he had a rare accident on the evening of September 28, when the storm wind blew the gate open strongly, hitting his head, causing him to fall backwards, suffering a traumatic brain injury and an occipital injury. After being hospitalized, he underwent minor surgery to suture the wound, received medical treatment and is currently being cared for and monitored at the Department of Neurosurgery 1.
Information from Viet Duc Hospital said that in the context of many provinces experiencing storms and floods due to the impact of storm Bualoi, the hospital has organized staff to be ready to urgently receive and treat accident cases.
"We are always ready to receive, rescue and provide emergency treatment to people in distress.
The entire medical team was mobilized and coordinated closely to ensure quick, safe and effective treatment, determined not to delay even a minute when the patient's life was threatened," informed the leader of Viet Duc Hospital.
Regarding emergency care and treatment of patients affected by storms, the Ministry of Health has just issued a dispatch on focusing on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10 and responding to floods after the storm.
The Ministry of Health requires units under the Ministry located in areas affected by storms and floods to be ready to provide professional support, increase staff, and receive seriously ill patients transferred from lower levels.
