Passenger bus burned to the frame on Nha Trang - Cam Lam highway, 30 people luckily escaped

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the bus fire on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam highway. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.

On October 4, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a representative of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Department 6 - Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) confirmed that a passenger bus fire had just occurred on the Cam Lam - Nha Trang highway (Khanh Hoa province).

Accordingly, at about 5:00 a.m. the same day, driver Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1976, residing in Ninh Binh province) drove a passenger bus with license plate number 18B-023.xx on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam highway (from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City).

At Km58+500, in Nam Cam Ranh commune (Khanh Hoa province), the passenger bus suddenly caught fire at the back. There were about 30 passengers on board.

Detecting smoke and fire, all passengers managed to escape. The bus was then completely burned.

Upon receiving the news, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 arrived at the scene, coordinating with Nam Cam Ranh Commune Police and functional units to support fire fighting, protection, and traffic regulation.

By 9am the same day, traffic through the above area was smooth.
