Luxury cars reduced in price by billions of dong to stimulate the market at the end of the year

Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Jeep brands are launching big incentive programs, with discounts of hundreds of millions to more than one billion VND for many car models in the fourth quarter.

Luxury car market is bustling with a series of great incentives

Entering the fourth quarter, the Vietnamese automobile market witnessed a strong price reduction, especially in the luxury car segment. Many major brands did not hesitate to apply deep incentive programs, with discounts up to billions of VND to clear inventory and stimulate year-end shopping, creating attractive opportunities for consumers.

Mercedes-Benz leads with a reduction of more than one billion VND

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam and its dealers are aggressively discounting high-performance models. Most notably, the Mercedes-AMG SL 43 convertible roadster has seen its price drop from VND6.959 billion to VND4.893 billion. Another high-performance model, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC, has also seen its price drop by VND400 million, bringing its actual price to VND1.799 billion.

According to the consultant, this program aims to release the remaining inventory of 2023-produced cars. The number and color of cars are limited, depending on the status at each dealer. Despite the deep discount, these models still face challenges because the sports car market in Vietnam is still quite picky.

Volkswagen offers incentives on all SUV and MPV products

German car brand Volkswagen is also not out of the price reduction race. The 2024 MPV Viloran model has a direct discount of 100 million VND, along with an accessory package and maintenance voucher worth 68 million VND. The 7-seat SUV Teramont has a cash discount of 200 million VND, bringing the selling price to 1.788 billion VND.

Volkswagen Touareg also receives incentives of hundreds of millions of dong depending on the version.

The high-end SUV Touareg also has attractive incentives. The Elegance version is reduced by 331 million VND, down to 2.368 billion VND, while the Luxury version is reduced from 3.099 billion to 2.768 billion VND. Other versions also receive gifts of accessories or maintenance packages from the manufacturer.

Jeep attracts attention with unprecedented price reduction

The American off-road vehicle brand Jeep is also offering a strong discount program at dealerships. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which has a listed price of more than 4 billion VND, is now being offered for only about 2.8 billion VND. The Wrangler Sahara version is also reduced from 3.886 billion VND to 2.638 billion VND.

In particular, the large SUV Jeep Grand Cherokee L recorded the deepest reduction, from 5.68 billion to 3.488 billion VND.
