On August 25, Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the investment policy.

At the same time, the investor of the Project to invest in building a facility to produce cinnamon products is Yen Bai Spices Joint Stock Company, with a total investment capital of 22 billion VND.

Accordingly, the Project is located in Mau Dong commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province with an expected land area of ​​9,380 m2.

Construction scale includes: production house, main warehouse, warehouse 1, warehouse 2, material storage house, operator house, worker housing, garage and other auxiliary items.

Design capacity of specific service products: peeled cinnamon: 1,200 tons/year, dried cinnamon tube: 1,500 tons/year, cinnamon chips: 500 tons/year, cinnamon powder: 600 tons/year.

The project's operating period is 50 years from August 22, 2024.

The project is expected to start construction in March 2025 and be operational in March 2026.
