189 excellent students from Dong Nai with difficult circumstances receive scholarships

(DN) - On the morning of October 16, at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted (Tam Hiep Ward), the Department of Education and Training organized a ceremony to award scholarships from Sojitz Group in 2025 to excellent students with difficult circumstances in Dong Nai province.

The Sojitz Scholarship was established 12 years ago and has been awarded 13 times to students in Dong Nai province. The scholarship is sponsored by Sojitz Group and its member companies, including: Sojitz Vietnam Co., Ltd., Long Binh Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., Long Duc Investment Co., Ltd. and Viet Nhat Fertilizer Company.

Sojitz Group's 2025 scholarships continue to be awarded to 189 middle and high school students (each worth 4 million VND), the total value of the 2025 scholarships awarded is 756 million VND.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Pham Hong Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, expressed his sincere thanks to Sojitz Group and its member companies for their meaningful contributions to Dong Nai's education sector over the years, through the awarding of more than 2,150 scholarships, with a total cost of nearly VND 8.6 billion to middle and high school students in Dong Nai province.

This support is not only a great source of material encouragement but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping students have more motivation to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. In particular, in the past school year, many students who received scholarships from Sojitz Group for the 2024-2025 school year were admitted to universities and colleges, including those who were admitted to top universities in Ho Chi Minh City. That also shows the students' determination and will to overcome difficulties to achieve excellent academic results.
