Ms. Luu Thi Tho was born in 1973, from Thai Binh (old); currently Deputy Dean and Head of the Department of Textile Materials Technology - Faculty of Garment Technology & Fashion Design - Hanoi University of Industry.

Ms. Tho received her master's degree in 2011 in Textile Technology (major in Textile Materials Technology) from Hanoi University of Science and Technology; her doctorate in 2016 also from the same university.

According to the records provided by the State Council of Professors, she worked at Nam Dinh Textile Corporation (1994-1996), Hanoi Textile Corporation (1996-2008), then transferred to teach at the University of Economics and Industrial Technology (2008-2018). From 2018 to present, she has been a lecturer, Deputy Dean and Head of the Department of Textile Materials Technology, Hanoi University of Industry.

She has successfully guided 8 graduate students, 14 student scientific research topics; chaired 9 topics at all levels and participated in many other research topics.

She has published 44 scientific articles/reports in journals and conference proceedings, including 6 articles in prestigious international journals listed in Scopus/ISI. She has also been granted 1 Patent; published 5 books (3 textbooks as editor, 2 reference books as participant).

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang , born in 1985, from Thai Binh province (old); currently belongs to the Thermal Engineering Professional Group, Faculty of Thermal Energy, School of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Hang received her master's degree in 2011 in Thermal Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and her doctorate in 2017 in Process and Systems Engineering from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany.

According to records provided by the State Council of Professors, from September 2008 to January 2012, she worked at the Department of Thermal Engineering, Institute of Thermal and Refrigeration Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, initially (September 2008 - August 2009) as an intern lecturer, then as an official lecturer.

From January 2012 to March 2017, she was a PhD student at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany.

From April 2017 to present, she is a lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering - Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Hang has guided 2 graduate students to successfully defend their master's theses; led 2 grassroots-level projects, 1 Nafosted Fund project and 1 Ministry of Education and Training-level project that have been accepted. She has also published 38 scientific articles, of which 18 were published in prestigious international journals with 14 as the main author (including 10 articles in the SCI/ESCIE category).

The Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Mechanical Engineering - Power Engineering proposed to consider and recognize Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Nhung (born in 1983, from Phu Tho), lecturer of the Aeronautical and Space Engineering Group, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Power Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. She graduated with a master's degree in Mechanics, Energy and Engineering from the University of Poitiers (France, 2007) and a doctorate in Mechanics - Materials from the National University of Arts and Vocational Training (France, 2012).

In the Metallurgy field, the only female candidate is Ms. Le Thi Bang (born in 1983, from Thanh Hoa), lecturer at the Department of Materials Engineering, School of Materials, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. She received her master's degree in Materials Science (Inorganic Biomedical Materials, 2010) and her doctorate in Materials Science (Ceramics, 2013) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

The Irrigation Department has two female candidates: Ms. Doan Thuy Kim Phuong (born in 1981, from Quang Ngai), lecturer at the Faculty of Hydraulic Construction, University of Science and Technology - University of Danang, graduated with a master's degree in Civil Engineering (National Central University, Taiwan, 2009), a doctorate in Earth, Space and Environmental Sciences (University of Grenoble, France, 2015), a doctorate in River and Lake Water Quality (University of Toronto, Canada, 2018); and Ms. Dinh Thi Lan Phuong (born in 1979, from Ninh Binh), Deputy Head of Department, Chairwoman of the Faculty Union, University of Water Resources, University of Water Resources, graduated with a master's degree in Environmental Sciences (University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, 2005) and a doctorate in Water Resources Engineering (University of Water Resources, 2018).
