On October 12, Ho Chi Minh City Open University launched the alumni and former students business club. At the time of its launch, the club gathered more than 100 entrepreneurs and intellectuals who are former graduate students, researchers and former students from the first courses to the present.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha - Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, said that since the establishment of the alumni club in 2015, the network has gathered more members from faculties and centers, organizing many practical activities that bring value to the school and society.
On that basis, the launch of the alumni business club marks a new step of development, expanding and enhancing the connection between generations of former students, especially the team of entrepreneurs, managers, and experts with many experiences and practical experience who have grown up from this school.
The Alumni Entrepreneurs Club of Ho Chi Minh City Open University operates on the principles of voluntariness, democracy, solidarity, mutual assistance and not for profit, under the auspices of the school, aiming to build a sustainable network of intellectual entrepreneurs, united together for development.
The club's common goal is to promote sustainable development for individuals, organizations and society.
The Club focuses on implementing two key groups of activities: Improving management capacity through forums, seminars, and intensive training courses on management, law, and international business practices; accompanying the school in spreading community values through consulting and career orientation activities for students; mobilizing scholarships, supporting internships and job opportunities; implementing social and charity programs, contributing to spreading the spirit of "community service" - the core value of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
