The 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace 2025, took place at 7am on September 28 at Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi. The race had the participation of more than 4,000 people including athletes, students, officials, workers and civil servants working in the capital.

In addition, the tournament had the participation of 250 foreigners who are officers and staff of 20 embassies, international organizations, and international schools studying and working in Hanoi .

Notably, in the advanced content, the tournament has the participation of many professional athletes who have won many achievements such as: Dao Minh Tri, Ba Van Han, Trinh Quoc Hung (Army), Le Van Thao (Thanh Hoa), Leo Thi My ( Son La )...

Athletes participated in distances ranging from 1.75km (1 lap around Hoan Kiem Lake), 3.5km (2 laps around the lake), 5.25km (3 laps around the lake), 8.75km (5 laps around the lake). The total prize value of the tournament is nearly 250 million VND.

On September 22, in Hanoi, the 30th Anniversary of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee was held. Since 2016, paralympic sports have been asserting their position. Vietnamese paralympic athletes won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals at the 2016 Paralympics in Brazil, and 8 gold medals at the Asian Para Games. At the 2020 Paralympics in Japan, Vietnamese paralympic sports won 1 silver medal, and at the 2024 Paralympics in France, we have 1 bronze medal. The Vietnam Paralympic Committee aims to develop 16 sports by 2030, attracting 40,000 paralympic athletes to participate regularly. Of which, the core athlete force will maintain 55-60 people annually.
