The route is managed and operated by the Ia Ly Hydropower Company and has been eroded since 2022. Since September 16, the landslide and subsidence situation has become more complicated, with the risk of affecting the entire road surface and bed, with a landslide area of about 320m long, but it is still passable. However, by the afternoon of October 19, the landslide site had subsided heavily, completely breaking the road surface, paralyzing traffic through this section of the road.
During the road closure, people and vehicles are guided to follow the Mun village route.

According to Mr. Ro Cham Tam, Vice Chairman of Ia Ly Commune People's Committee, there are 6 households living in the landslide area, located in the area at risk of being affected. Of which, 1 household was directly affected, the house collapsed, unable to live, and has been supported by the locality to rent a temporary house; the remaining 5 households are being mobilized to relocate and will be supported by the government for temporary accommodation. In the long term, Ia Ly Commune is asking for opinions from superiors to arrange resettlement land for 6 households in the dangerous landslide area.
