5,930 workers receive unemployment benefits

According to the Tuyen Quang Provincial Employment Service Center, in the first 9 months of 2025, the Center received applications for unemployment benefits from 6,286 people; the number of people who had decisions to receive unemployment benefits was 5,930 people. The amount of unemployment benefits paid was 101 billion VND.

Workers are consulted and introduced to new jobs at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Employment Service Center.

In which, the average unemployment benefit is 3,701,520 VND/person/month with the average number of months of benefit being nearly 5 months/person, the person receiving the highest unemployment benefit is 18.4 million VND/month; the person receiving the lowest unemployment benefit is over 2 million VND/month.

To support unemployed workers who come to submit their applications, the Center promotes job counseling, job introduction, and vocational training when workers come to make monthly job search announcements and through job counseling and referral conferences with nearly 33,450 participants; organizes printing and distribution of 50,000 leaflets to promote unemployment insurance policies and businesses; collects votes to evaluate workers' satisfaction with unemployment benefits settlement, unemployment benefits payment, payment methods, payment procedures, job counseling, vocational training, policy counseling, procedure counseling, and job referrals.

In the context of the strong economic transformation of Tuyen Quang province, unemployment insurance policy plays an indispensable role in ensuring social security and developing a sustainable labor market, being a solid support for workers, contributing to the overall development of the province.
