Provincial Red Cross Society gives gifts to support people of Minh Ngoc commune

On October 7, the Provincial Red Cross in coordination with Tien Thuan Trading Service Company Limited visited and presented gifts to households affected by storm No. 10 in Minh Ngoc commune.

The recent storm No. 10 caused a lot of damage to the locality, causing the roofs of some houses to be blown off and damaged; nearly 42.4 hectares of rice and 26 hectares of corn were broken, along with 3 hectares of other crops affected. Some schools, medical stations, dams, irrigation canals were also damaged, with an estimated total damage of about 1.6 billion VND.

In order to share the difficulties and help people stabilize their lives soon, Tien Thuan Trading Service Company Limited has given 50 gifts including rice, fish sauce, cooking oil, etc., each worth 300,000 VND to the households. Thereby, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and solidarity, joining hands with the local government to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
