9,000 12th grade students in Tuyen Quang province participate in Career Guidance "Self-positioning"

From August 27 to 29, the Ho Chi Minh City English Research and Teaching Association organized a career counseling and orientation program for the 2025-2026 school year with the theme "Self-positioning" at Tan Trao High School, Center for Continuing Education, Nguyen Van Huyen High School, Son Duong High School, Y La High School and Tuyen Quang Province Specialized High School.

At the program, Mr. Truong Chan Sang, Member of the Student Cultural Committee - Ho Chi Minh City English Research and Teaching Association, shared with students a lot of useful information: 8 types of intelligence in the world ; how to distinguish between what you like and what you are good at; 4 principles of career selection and career selection trends in the 4.0 industrial revolution; interacted, asked questions and answered questions from students. In addition, students were trained in the "Digital Popular Education" class and digital solutions to enhance self-study, contributing to achieving good results in the high school graduation exam.

Mr. Truong Chan Sang presented the "Giving Strength to School" backpacks to children in Binh Thuan ward.

Through the program, we aim to spread many values ​​and knowledge in career orientation and positioning, helping students access new information about the 2026 National High School Exam, thereby confidently choosing their future majors and careers, contributing to the development of a rich and civilized country.

The Organizing Committee presented a playground to Hung My Kindergarten, Tan My commune worth 12 million VND.

In the program series, IELTS SUNSHINE Foreign Language Center sponsored 50 cash scholarships (500,000 VND/scholarship) and 5 full IELTS scholarships (30 million VND/scholarship) for disadvantaged students to excel in their studies. In addition, the Organizing Committee donated 2 children's playgrounds in Tan My and Son Thuy communes to local kindergartens, creating conditions for children to play and participate in activities; and donated 350 backpacks to primary school students in Binh Thuan ward, Tan My commune and Son Thuy commune.
