Agribank joins hands to build boarding school in Tay Giang border area

(Chinhphu.vn) - Promoting the spirit of "leaving no one behind", Agribank has accompanied the construction of Tay Giang Boarding School (Da Nang), contributing to the care of education in border areas, fostering learning opportunities for ethnic minority students.

Recently, in Tay Giang commune ( Da Nang city), Government leaders presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Tay Giang Boarding School, Primary and Secondary School.

Comrade To Huy Vu - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank , and the bank's delegation attended the ceremony and donated 20 billion VND to support the construction of the school. This fund was taken from social security funds and contributions from Agribank staff and employees, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and accompanying the Government in taking care of the education cause in border areas.

At the ceremony, Mr. To Huy Vu - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank represented the bank to present a sponsorship of 20 billion VND for the program "Building schools in Da Nang". This is the largest sponsorship in the program, drawn from social security funds and voluntary contributions of Agribank staff and employees.

This support continues the series of community activities that Agribank has carried out over the years – from building Great Unity houses, providing medical support, donating houses to the poor, to accompanying fishermen at sea, protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands.

Every year, Agribank spends hundreds of billions of VND on social security work. On this occasion, the donation of 20 billion VND to build a school in Tay Giang once again affirms the "bank for the community" spirit, demonstrating the affection, responsibility and trust of tens of thousands of Agribank staff in the development of the country.
