In which, chapter 1 - "The Heroic Spirit of Nguyen Trung Truc" recreates the revolutionary spirit and patriotism of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc against foreign invaders. Thereby, expressing gratitude for the merits of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc - an outstanding son of the South. He devoted his whole life to the cause of fighting against colonialism, leaving behind for future generations a shining example of loyalty and indomitable spirit, contributing to further embellishing the heroic tradition of the Vietnamese people.

Chapter 2 - "An Giang firmly steps towards the future" with performances praising the Party and Uncle Ho, pride in the achievements of the development process of An Giang homeland, aspirations for a bright future, building An Giang province to be affectionate, rich and beautiful, steadfast on the development journey, entering a new era of development with the country.

The traditional festival commemorating the 157th anniversary of the death of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc took place over 3 days, from October 17 to 19 (26 to 28 of the 8th lunar month). In addition to traditional rituals, the festival also included many cultural activities, OCOP product displays, tourism promotion and art performances to create a vibrant atmosphere, spreading local cultural values ​​to a large number of people and tourists.

Nguyen Trung Truc (1838 - 1868) was honored by the people as an "outstanding farmer-fisher general" in the anti-French resistance movement in the late 19th century. He was respectfully called "God", "Mr. Nguyen", "Mr. Nguyen", "National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc"...

In many localities, people built communal houses to worship him or worship him together with other gods. Particularly in Rach Gia (An Giang province), Nguyen Trung Truc communal house is the main place of worship, closely associated with the formation and development of the Nguyen death anniversary - a unique cultural feature in the spiritual life of the people of the South.
