Two hours of searching for "alcohol god" at noon, the whole country discovered more than 1,200 violations

On the evening of October 18, the Traffic Police Department announced that during the first afternoon (from 12:30 to 14:30), traffic police forces nationwide simultaneously deployed a peak plan to check and handle drivers violating alcohol concentration, discovering more than 1,200 cases of drunk driving.

Specifically, the Traffic Police of 34 localities controlled the alcohol concentration of 46,028 drivers and vehicle operators (1,651 passenger cars, 34,38 trucks, 9,888 cars, 30,219 motorbikes, 832 rudimentary vehicles); recorded and handled the acts of driving vehicles with alcohol concentration of more than 1,200 cases.

According to the statistical report of the provincial police, Hanoi is the locality that detected and handled the most violations with 190 cases. Next is Hai Phong with 101 violating drivers, Thai Nguyen 90 cases, Lao Cai and Bac Ninh both detected 88 cases, Hung Yen 70 cases ....

This thematic inspection was launched by the Traffic Police Department with the policy of organizing the campaign simultaneously within the same time frame; creating unity, determination and effectiveness in the work of checking and handling alcohol concentration violations.

The plan's goal is to increase detection and prevention of violations, reduce traffic accidents, and raise drivers' awareness of law compliance.

According to the plan, traffic police will closely coordinate with commune-level police and other forces to implement the plan.
