“Hanoi Belief” is not only an art program but also a political commentary in music, depicting the wise and steadfast leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam that has led the nation from one victory to another; arousing the strength of national unity, fostering belief, ideals and aspirations for prosperous development and happiness.
The program recreates the glorious milestones of the nation through classical music and modern theatrical language. Each sound, each melody is a vivid chapter of history about the steadfast belief in the Party, in the revolutionary path that President Ho Chi Minh and our people have chosen - the path of national independence associated with socialism.

“Hanoi Belief” features People’s Artist Mai Hoa; 2 Meritorious Artists Hoang Tung and Vu Thang Loi; Artist Dao To Loan; Artist Pham Tuan; young singer Dang Ngoc Anh; Childhood Stars Club and the Hanoi Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. The program is like a journey through the glorious historical stages of the Capital and the country with heroic, passionate and proud melodies.

The opening song is “Hanoi, Faith and Hope” (composed by Phan Nhan) and followed by: “Destroy the fascists” (Nguyen Dinh Thi), “The person who returns brings joy” (Trong Bang), “Each step brings more love to the Fatherland” (Tan Huyen), “My love for the sea” (Nguyen Duc Toan), “Our Fatherland has never been so beautiful” (Nguyen Van Thuong), “Hanoi in Autumn” (Vu Thanh), “Hanoi’s blue sky” (Van Ky), “The vast new road” (Ho Trong Tuan)…

The special highlight of the program is that for the first time in 65 years, the most massive choral suite in the history of Vietnamese music, “Our Fatherland”, consisting of 3 chapters: Chapter I “Praise the Fatherland” written by musician Ho Bac; Chapter II “Reminiscences” performed by musician Hoang Van and Chapter III “The heroic and indomitable South” composed by musician Pham Tuyen, was performed in full on stage, right at the foot of the Hanoi Flag Tower - the sacred symbol of the country. The performance of the suite included the participation of 2 Meritorious Artists Hoang Tung and Vu Thang Loi, along with artist Pham Tuan and the Choir of the Star Youth Club.

Along with the suite “My Fatherland”, a new piece of music imbued with national pride and spirit - “The heroic song of the Country” (poem by Phuc Bach, music by Ho Trong Tuan) was also introduced to the public. The work is like a new-age epic, beautiful from melody to lyrics, resounding like a sacred call, echoing beliefs, lighting up the will and aspiration for Vietnam to shine forever. For the first time, this new song was performed by Vietnam’s leading soprano Dao To Loan on a live television stage, in an art and political program with the Choir and Symphony Orchestra of Hanoi Radio and Television.

The work has partly recreated the spirit of the Vietnamese people who wrote the golden pages of history, and at the same time affirmed the aspiration to build a new era - the era of peace, happiness and development in the current period. The rich symbolic image such as "The National Flag fluttering" in the glorious light of a peaceful, prosperous and developed nation, creating a "National Epic" that resonates and spreads, evoking the image of a brilliant Vietnam, confidently standing shoulder to shoulder with friends from all over the world.

Interspersed among the art performances in the program were reportage clips such as: "The historic decision of the Hanoi Party Committee" and "Hanoi rising in the new era" which partly demonstrated the stature of the Capital Party Committee, bravery, determination, creativity and pioneering in all revolutionary periods, from the historic August Revolution, opening the era of independence and freedom to the era of rising up of the nation today.

The political and artistic program "Hanoi Belief" was broadcast live on channels H1, H2 (4K) and FM96 radio of Hanoi Radio and Television Station along with applications: HANOI ON, website hanoionline.vn and social networking channels (Youtube, Facebook) of the station.
