Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai was re-elected as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 18th term.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030, consists of 17 comrades; Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai was elected to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

On the morning of October 17, the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term announced the results of the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 18th term, 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was elected to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII.

The four Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030, include: Tran Sy Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII; Phung Thi Hong Ha, member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Nguyen Trong Dong, member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

At the same time, the list of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and the Chairman of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 18th term was also officially announced.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, consists of 17 comrades, including 5 comrades from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the remaining 12 comrades are members; the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee, term XVIII, consists of 12 comrades.

During the working session on the morning of October 17, the Congress elected official delegates and alternate delegates to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was born in 1965; hometown Thanh Lam, Ninh Binh. She joined the Party in 1991; educational qualifications: Master of Law, Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Economics; political theory level: Advanced.

From August 1988 to March 2009, comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai undertook important tasks in Nam Dinh city, Nam Ha province, later Ha Nam province.

From March 2009 to March 2011, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai was an alternate member of the 10th Party Central Committee, member of the Party Delegation, and Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

From March 2011 to April 2018, he was a member of the Party Central Committee, 11th and 12th terms; Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Central Agencies; Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Inspection Commission for the 2010-2015 term.

From May 2018 to January 2021, he was a member of the 12th Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission.

From April 2021 to July 2024, he was a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Politburo (from May 2024), Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Deputy of the 15th National Assembly (from May 2021); Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Chairman of the Central Mass Work Council; Head of the Central Steering Committee for the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Charter; Head of the Steering Committee for Religious Affairs. From July 2024 to present, he is a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City.

Previously, on the afternoon of October 16, the Congress elected 75 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 18th term with a concentrated number of votes and a high percentage.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee, was elected with the highest number of votes, 99.27%./.
