Ba Ria - Vung Tau: More than 181,000 visitors came to experience drinking beer and having fun at the beach

Many festivals attract visitors

On the afternoon of September 2, Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, said that the number of tourists coming to the locality to enjoy swimming in the sea was larger than the first day of the holiday.

Many localities such as Vung Tau, Long Dien, Xuyen Moc... organize many festivals to attract visitors to the locality.

The most special of which is the beer festival "Vung Tau BeerFest" which is the festival that many tourists look forward to.

The first beer festival held in Vung Tau with the theme "Around the world with Saigon Beer" took place on September 2 and 3 in the Back Beach area.

There are many exciting activities including: Discovering cuisine , beer drinking culture from typical countries around the world and art performances.

Tourists experience the coastal festival.

The food and beer area stretches from Cot Co park to San Ho Xanh tourist area with about 40 stalls.

Tourists and locals will have the opportunity to experience beer drinking and street food with three representatives from Japan, Korea and Thailand, American BBQ garden party style, German giant beer festival, especially Bui Vien - Ta Hien street of Vietnam recreated on the beach.

Many impressive activities took place at the beer festival.

A highlight of the festival is the EDM art program that takes place continuously for 10 hours, from 8:00 p.m. on September 2 to 6:00 a.m. on September 3 with the participation of many famous artists and singers.

With this big festival, Vung Tau hopes this will be the foundation for exciting events in the future, making Vung Tau a city of international-class festivals.

To help people enjoy the holiday safely, Vung Tau city mobilized civil servants and public employees of specialized departments, fronts, unions, and coastal wards to be on duty with 100% of their forces.

Although the weather is quite gloomy, the beach in Vung Tau is still crowded.

Support people to enjoy swimming safely at the beach

On the second day of the holiday, Vung Tau city authorities assisted 18 visitors; received information, assisted and returned 11 lost children to their families safely; warned four cases of eating and drinking in parks and embankments; dispersed two cases of eating and drinking on the beach; prevented five cases of bringing food and alcoholic beverages to the beach; and handled one case of street vending.

Similarly, in Dat Do district, the authorities have increased inspections from Deo Nuoc Ngot to Mo Ong beach.

Through inspection, three tourists were discovered and warned for swimming and playing sup at Rada 2511 beach (Loc An commune) and 40 tourists were warned not to play or take photos causing unsafety at Deo Nuoc Ngot rock beach area.

On September 2, Con Dao district experienced rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds, causing obstacles and affecting tourists' travel, sightseeing, entertainment, and experiences.

In Con Dao, boats and canoes continue to stop operating, tourists cannot participate in ecological sightseeing activities in the forest and sea.   

Diverse cuisine waiting for visitors to enjoy.

According to the reporter's records, on September 2, the afternoon was cloudy, with some rain, but the number of visitors was still higher than on September 1.

At Cot Co Park and Thuy Van beach embankment in Vung Tau, many people sit and relax, enjoying the cool breeze. Back Beach in Vung Tau is quite crowded with people swimming.

According to statistics, on September 2, the number of visitors to this locality was about 181,106, an increase of 51.24% over the same period last year. Revenue reached about 90,124 billion VND, an increase of 14.82% over the same period in 2022.
