Phuong Hoang Cave - Mo Ga Stream, Vo Nhai Commune currently does not have many entertainment services, except for a swimming pool but the area is not large enough. |
Although it is the central area of the province, Phan Dinh Phung ward does not have many places for entertainment. Some places such as Thai Nguyen Stadium, Tien Tho bookstore, Minh Cau supermarket, Lan Chi supermarket, Vincom Thai Nguyen shopping center, Go Thai Nguyen... all have entertainment areas, but they are small in scale, mainly serving children and have to pay service fees. Movie theaters are not abundant, currently there are only Beta (259 Quang Trung) and CGV Vincom Thai Nguyen (284 Luong Ngoc Quyen). The public entertainment spot that many people mainly visit is Vo Nguyen Giap Square.
In many communes and wards in the province, entertainment and recreation areas are becoming increasingly rare. In fact, in many communes in the North, there are almost no places to serve the needs of the people. On holidays, especially April 30; National Day (September 2) , many families often take their children to tourist destinations such as Nui Coc Lake, Ghenh Che Lake, Phuong Hoang Cave - Mo Ga Stream, ATK Dinh Hoa... to have fun. Among them, only Nui Coc Lake has invested in a comprehensive outdoor entertainment area. However, the scale is limited, the types of services are not diverse and the construction was built a long time ago so it is now degraded.
Ms. Le Thanh Thuy, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, said: Thai Nguyen currently has very few entertainment, recreation and resort spots to attract tourists. The current spots are small in scale, only meeting a part of the needs of the people and are often overloaded during holidays. This makes Thai Nguyen tourism not attractive enough to retain tourists, prolong their stay and increase spending.
According to many people, Thai Nguyen lacks entertainment and recreation areas due to limited planning. Moreover, investment in cultural and entertainment facilities for the general public has not received much attention (if any, it is mainly concentrated in central and urban areas with high population density).
In addition, investment funds for recreation and entertainment facilities in the province are still low compared to the demand (currently, only a few residential areas in Phan Dinh Phung, Tich Luong, Quyet Thang wards... have outdoor sports facilities but on a very small scale).
In the context of an increasingly developed society, people's need for entertainment and recreation is also increasing. Therefore, investing in the construction of entertainment and recreation areas has become an inevitable trend, contributing to creating a safe and healthy lifestyle for the community.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hoa, Quyet Thang Ward, said: To have projects that meet the requirements, there needs to be a specific time and roadmap. The province should issue a detailed plan for entertainment and recreation venues, in which each commune and ward needs to have at least one large-scale location. In addition, it is necessary to proactively create land funds and allocate funds for the construction and expansion of public entertainment and recreation facilities to meet the increasing needs of the people.
It can be affirmed that to overcome the lack of entertainment and recreation spaces and improve people's spiritual life, there needs to be synchronous participation of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the response of the community. When the entire political system and the people join hands, the investment in building new entertainment and recreation areas can be effective, meeting practical requirements.
