Bac Ninh: Attracting investment to industrial parks reaches the finish line early

Recently, the leaders of Bac Ninh province have continuously welcomed representatives of large corporations operating in the area to work, propose expanding production scale and hope to receive support from the province. Luxshare-ICT Limited Liability Company is currently operating in Van Trung Industrial Park, specializing in the production of electronic components, with revenue in 2024 reaching more than 3.6 billion USD, expected to grow 1.5 times in 2025.

Mr. Truong Tieu Kien, General Director of Luxshare in Vietnam, shared that after more than 10 years of operating in the locality, the enterprise has received active support from local authorities and people. Typically, during the recent flood, the provincial leaders directed specialized departments and branches to quickly inspect and implement flood control measures, helping to quickly overcome the incident and ensure production safety.

Currently, Luxshare is implementing a factory expansion project in Que Vo Industrial Park with a total investment of 300 million USD. The company hopes to continue receiving support from the province to soon put the project into operation. In addition, Cooler Master Limited Liability Company is adjusting its investment plan, adding about 800 million USD to the current project in Gia Binh Industrial Park.

In summary, in the first 9 months of 2025, the province has newly granted 246 secondary projects; at the same time, adjusted investment certificates to increase capital for 577 investment projects in industrial parks. The total newly granted and adjusted investment capital reached more than 5 billion USD. This result far exceeded the set targets, reaching 243.99% of the annual plan, reaching 139.42% of the province's plan on implementing Directive No. 05/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister. The above impressive figures continue to affirm that Bac Ninh is a strategic destination for domestic and foreign investors, playing an important role in promoting national economic growth.

The fact that Bac Ninh is continuously chosen as a place to locate factories, expand production and develop long-term shows the business community's trust in flexible management policies, synchronous infrastructure and effective support from local authorities.

The results of attracting investment into industrial zones have created a breakthrough, helping Bac Ninh rise to the second position in the country in attracting FDI projects (after Ho Chi Minh City). This achievement is thanks to the efforts of the Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board to implement the work program in the context of many unpredictable fluctuations in the world , especially the US tariff policy that has had a profound impact on the global economy. Changes in import taxes and industries have had a strong impact on investment decisions, especially from foreign enterprises considering expanding operations in Bac Ninh.

With the drastic, flexible and creative direction of the provincial leaders, the Industrial Parks Management Board has proactively implemented many synchronous solutions such as: Meeting, listening and removing difficulties for businesses; establishing working groups to support large projects; attracting investors to build professional factories to be ready to receive new capital flows. At the same time, the Board has advised the provincial leaders to coordinate with infrastructure units to organize working groups to promote investment in key markets such as Japan, Korea, the United States, China, etc.

In improving the investment environment, the Board prioritizes attracting high-tech, energy-saving projects that use less labor and have the potential to contribute greatly to the budget. Administrative reform, support for businesses in recruiting labor, and handling investment procedures are carried out regularly and on time. The Board also strengthens inspection and supervision of businesses' compliance with the law, and coordinates with functional sectors in planning, construction, environmental protection, food safety, fire prevention and fighting, security and order.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, with a high sense of responsibility, strict discipline and the connection between collective tasks and individual responsibilities, the unit is striving to complete assigned tasks, continuing to affirm its role as an important hub in industrial development and investment attraction of the province.

To attract investment, especially in industrial parks, the province always focuses on improving the investment and business environment and reforming administrative procedures. Regardless of holidays or overtime, provincial leaders always listen and resolve difficulties for businesses. Recently, the province held a conference to resolve obstacles in site clearance for the technical infrastructure investment project of Que Vo Industrial Park 2 expansion and Nam Son-Hap Linh. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directly grasped the production situation and encouraged businesses affected by storms and floods right after the water receded. The recommendations of businesses on flood prevention, labor recruitment, and traffic congestion in industrial parks were all assigned by provincial leaders to relevant departments and branches for timely handling. With the close attention of provincial leaders, businesses pledged to strive to maintain production, join hands with the province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and promote local socio-economic development.
