Meeting point of cooperatives
According to Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Pham Minh Hien, in recent years, trade promotion and product consumption in the area have been diversified and have had positive changes. Every year, the Provincial Cooperative Union organizes many delegations to participate in events organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Union and other provinces and cities, thereby contributing to effectively promoting OCOP products and typical products of the province. In addition, the Provincial Cooperative Union proactively coordinates with the Department of Agriculture , Industry and Trade, localities and supermarket systems, large enterprises such as Saigon Coop, BigC, Lotte, Winmart ...; distribution channels such as TokyoFood, Bac Tom, An Viet Food, HTS Vietnam ... to bring into consumption many agricultural products and craft village products. Particularly, the area for displaying, introducing and supporting cooperatives to consume OCOP products and regional specialties is located in the premises of the Provincial Cooperative Union headquarters with an average of more than 400 products, becoming a familiar destination for many consumers.

Trade promotion activities are also diversified, associated with digital transformation. The Provincial Cooperative Union surveyed production capacity to support bringing many cooperative products to the e-commerce platforms Alibaba; Shopee, TikTok, building e-commerce websites and media publications to support consumption. Many products are supported to implement traceability, attach QR codes, growing area codes... to facilitate transactions and enhance the reputation of cooperatives.
Welcoming the success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, aiming to welcome the 1st Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, in October, the Provincial Cooperative Union organized a series of events connecting supply and demand. In particular, the 2025 Fair has a scale of 30 - 40 standard booths and is 100% supported by the Bac Ninh Provincial Cooperative Union. In addition to cooperatives in the province, there are also many units from neighboring provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Hanoi , Nghe An, Lang Son... participating. Products at the 2025 Fair are all regional in character, have clear origins, ensure food hygiene and safety, are diverse in form, rich in content, and beautiful in design, produced by cooperatives and enterprises inside and outside the province.
In addition to the Fair program, a conference on solutions to promote trade promotion activities for the collective economic sector and cooperatives after the merger was also held to propose solutions and initiatives to strengthen cooperation in the Provincial Cooperative Alliance system; support and improve the operational efficiency of the collective economic sector and cooperatives, contributing to the socio-economic development of each locality. The Provincial Cooperative Alliance coordinated with the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment (Vietnam Cooperative Alliance) to organize a conference to improve the capacity for digital transformation of production, business activities, and trade promotion for cooperatives and business households in rural and mountainous areas, contributing to the implementation of the tasks and objectives of Resolution 57 on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the collective economic sector.
Effective promotion
With the organized trade promotion activities, cooperatives in the area have the opportunity to exchange, learn, and share experiences on organizational models and market development; exchange and cooperate in production and business, form value chains in production and build sustainable cooperative relationships. Many cooperatives have typical agricultural and craft products, stable quantity of goods, good quality, labels, beautiful packaging designs, are promoted, and get closer to consumers. Many cooperatives sign direct contracts, attract investment resources, and support from state agencies and enterprises. Having brought products to trade promotion conferences many times, the Vietnamese Cultural Preservation Tourism Cooperative (Phu Lang commune) was impressed with the event organized by the Provincial Cooperative Union. Director of the Cooperative Dang Thi Tam said: “Phu Lang pottery is a typical handicraft product, we really want to bring products with traditional cultural values to customers in all regions. In the past time, we have received maximum support from the Provincial Cooperative Union when we opened a promotional booth and were supported with transportation costs for large quantities of displayed products. We request the Provincial Cooperative Union to continue expanding the scale of fairs and markets, and at the same time diversifying forms of trade promotion support, bringing cooperative products to further markets”.
Established in 2023, Hung Uyen Cordyceps Cultivation Cooperative (Canh Thuy Ward) is also very active in bringing products to participate in trade promotion conferences of the Provincial Cooperative Union. Ms. Nguyen Thi Uyen, Director of the Cooperative, said: "Participating in the 2025 Fair, we bring 3 typical products of the unit that achieved 3-star OCOP, which are dried cordyceps mushrooms, cordyceps wine, and cordyceps tea. In the context of growing digital commerce, we hope that in addition to direct fairs, the Provincial Cooperative Union will promote support for cooperatives to bring products to e-commerce platforms."
In addition to careful preparation for the successful organization of a series of trade promotion events, in the coming time, the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to promote propaganda to raise awareness of the role of trade promotion activities in production and business efficiency, creating initiative and positivity in the participation of cooperatives. Regularly survey and evaluate the scale and capacity of operating cooperatives to have information as a database for consulting and supporting product consumption. Develop specific plans, clearly identify products and goods that need to be connected, quality, quantity, and time of supply; strengthen promotion of cooperative products and goods; innovate and improve the quality of coordination activities, exchange information on investment, production, etc. Encourage cooperatives to focus on improving management and operational capacity; Innovate thinking, develop products that are local strengths and increase the application of e-commerce to improve production and business efficiency from the collective economy.
